Hey, JT. What's going on, man? So as I understood in this app here, this is actually a brand new app for me that I came across this morning. I think I mentioned in the first Swell that I came across, actually in a paid advertisement on Instagram. So I understood that where it says you can invite users to your Swell
For some people, I can have conversations on the other side of the planet that can go over a period of days, partially because of the differences in time zones, partially even people closer to home with respect to whatever's going on in their lives. But if you're looking more for a live experience I'm not sure if you've heard of clubhouse, but I spend time both here and there, depending on what I'm looking looking for and whatever I feel like that particular day

Because as I understand, you can't record from your desktop, which I would use my microphone there. But if you're recording from your phone, are you able to use a microphone connected with your phone? I'm just curious

And I thought, well, five minutes. If we can cap each side at five minutes, you still have room to roam, as I like to say, and explore different topics and express yourself. And at the same time, the five minute cap kind of keeps you and me be honest. So I'll plan to start a thread. I'll probably text you as well because I don't think I've been getting notifications
Great question. I know you can. The quality of mics I've been able to purchase in the past has been s***, so I don't use them. I'm using the phone's mic on my Samsung, but I've also used it on my prior iPhone, so you can go either way. I don't know enough about mics to be able to say much more than that, but it's definitely something that works with the app
You can also manually type in user names too, and each time a username is included, it will notify the person. If you don't include their username and it's not their Swell, they won't be notified. Also, if you want to do a conversation with just the two of you and you don't want other people jumping in in the middle of it, you can make your Swell invitation only
