And as I said, that these days are associated with showing respect and gratitude towards one's ancestors. These days are not considered days of mourning but then these are also not days of festivity and celebration. Interestingly, since these mark the lives of our ancestors which means we are looking at lives which have ceased to be. So it is not considered very auspicious to start something new in these days

Yes, ma'am. I completely agree to an aspect of doing, saying gratitude to our ancestors during this pitrapaksha. And that is something I feel the younger generation also needs to understand, that it's beyond rituals. It's saying gratitude to them that because of them we are here. Because of their karma, we have the blessings is of the universe with them. And if something needs to be done from our sides, for them, this is the time to do it
