Why is mythology so fascinating?

And so I thought, let me think a little more about this and let me try to delve a little deeper into this. And I think one is that mythology provides us with insight into the beliefs, values and cultural practices of a particular geographical area. And if we look at India, we can see that myths often reflect the social and political structures of the time in which they were created. For example, in Indian society, the concept of dharma or duty is a recurring theme in Hindu mythology

And when the story gradually started developing, the first one to come up was Draupadi. And she was blamed for being responsible to spark the war because she insulted Duryodhan. And because of that, Duryodhan decided to seek revenge. And then one event after the another continued to happen. And as the court proceedings continue, you get to know the very different perspective of every single character. And I would not like to describe it here because it will spoil the essence of the entire story

It is still you pass on to the next realm. The journey continues and I guess there's no other better way than to express it through mythology. And if I have to validate certain part of mythology into real time characters, I have been fortunate enough to have stayed in Uttarakhand for some time. And during the course of my stay, I was fortunate to have encounters some of which were picked up directly from the mythological text. So one of the references is Dronagiri. Parbat where Hanuman had lifted Dronagiri
