State of The Union

Now, before Dietrich could finish the speech, the radio signal was cut off. He warned about the popular Furor principle, which was the idea that a leader should have absolute power over his people and be seen effectively as a messianic figure. Hitler presented that principle to the german people, but it dramatically was opposed to the biblical idea of leadership. Ada is. In the last 2000 years, God has sent prophetic figures to call the people of God to be the church by speaking out and taking action

Part 2

In May of 1934, this group of christian leaders drafted and published what has come to be called the Barman declaration. It essentially said that the german state must not and could not coopt the church. And the sanctity and separation of the church from the state must be crystal clear. But what is shocking is that most pastors in Germany were not willing to sign it. Perhaps they, like so many in the american church today, thought it safer to sit on the sidelines, to comply and to do nothing

Part 3

I had a boss once. I let people tell me what to do once. And I'm not telling you what to do. I'm just telling you maybe you should let God dictate what you do in your life. What do you guys think? Is that the piece that we're missing? Is it the fact that we have become an atheist society. Is that why the whole world's falling apart? You close

And what's interesting is that, like what happened in Germany with these churches, is that people will not stand up against him when he's doing toxic things. They will go along with it. And churches too, the evangelical churches as well, will be supportive of it along with that movement. And that to me is scary

Yep, my opinion is the Antichrist, but whatever, I'll stand up to him. I'll stand up to any man that doesn't declare Christ Lord simple as that. Because I think it's just a matter of we're riding on faith at this point. So it's a matter of getting your family members to not go along with whatever this is, whatever direction it's heading

And so I think, not knowing what this documentary, what direction it takes off, but I think the christian big organizations, not you, Rooster, or not people that are genuinely concerned with living the values that you see, but the big organizations, the religions, the evangelical organizations, the born again organizations, they need to really take a deep, hard look. I don't think they will. I don't believe that they ever will. But that's where the change needs to happen
