The Anointed Part 1

He often expressed spiritual themes in his music and interviews, but his views were multifaceted and did not strictly adhere to a single religious doctrine. Tupac's lyrics and public statements reflected a blend of spiritual beliefs. He frequently referenced God in his music and spoke about religious themes indicating a belief in a higher power. However, his views were eclectic and sometimes contradictory, blending elements of Christianity with broader spiritual concepts

It was a nice tribute to him. And if he's up there listening, I am sure that he is impressed. So, thank you so much for sharing this, because God's people come in all forms. We're not perfect. We're just going to be temples of Christ. And that's what he wants us to be. And however he uses us for that. To God be the glory

He definitely had the gift of leadership, and he definitely had the gift of getting people to listen to his words because they were just that impactful. And sadly, his life ended at an early age
@theRev
And intertwined in my mother's quilt are the lyrics from Tupac's dear mama. And if anyone really and seriously wants to know Tupac Shakur, that's the most wonderful starting place. When I was young, me and my mama had beef. 17 years old, kicked out in the street. Though back at the time, I never thought I'd see her face. Ain't a woman alive that can take my mama's place. Suspended from school, scared to go home. I was a fool
@theRev
America's one sided, two faced justice system. It's not hard. It's truth. So for you to make an attempt to impose Christianity on Tupac, again, is America's one sided, two faced justice system. Now, if you listen to Tupac, and that's a difficult thing to do, I'm trying to play catch up on Tupac. Paul didn't know Jesus. That's the most overlooked fact of Christianity

And I think for me, from my socioeconomic background and just being, like, dealing with music, film, and television and the art, specifically writing and all. Yeah. The things that I said about Tupac just scratched the surface of who the human being was and what his journey was and the trials and tribulations that he faced as a human being. And you're absolutely correct. And I want to just make you aware. Like I said, I'm listening to the first message

And also how his music keeps coming out after he's dead, and it's still wonderful and beautiful and still filled with the spirit, the spirit, Christ's spirit, the spirit of God. And, yeah, the music, like, you were past. And I grew up in the same, the, you were in the religious circle. I was in that circle, too, but I grew up in New Mexico and Texas

But I'll keep it brief and wrap it up. Rev, thank you so much for even stopping by and talking to me and adding such amazing insight that I just hope people appreciate and recognize what it is. And recognize, like you said, when people see your heart, I see it. And it is amazing. It is incredible. Yeah. You're a special human being

What a really interesting share, because I don't believe I have ever heard anyone say that about Tupac. Not to say that I disagree. I think it's a radically cool thing to say. I definitely grew up loving Tupac. I deeply cried when he passed. I miss Tupac every single day. I don't think there'll be a day that I'm alive where I do not Miss Tupac or other people who, I feel, like you said, are gone to soon

And it is always our choice to take the path that you're talking about. It's the choice. So everyone is anointed. Every human being is anointed with this gift of love and compassion and heart. And once we access that, once we access that heart and that passion, that's embracing how you were anointed in life. Because I think if you speak of being anointed or what anointed means, and everybody's anointed and if we choose to use it or not

Glad we are in agreement. Now the question is, what's it going to take for other people to make that right choice? To see the power that lives within? To know that they're more than enough, that they can ignore outside voices, family, friends, the world media, and choose to be the super hero that they are. And choose to make something of impact with their life, something of a legacy that is aligned with what's most important with them

And it's not about ignoring what the people around you say, it's paying attention to what the people around you are saying. And if it's the fact that they need help, you should help them out. I don't know what else to say to people. Bull. It's time. Whatever it takes inside of. Inside yourself to, like you said, manifest these superpowers, now is the time to do it. Yeah, now's the time

We all have an individual walk, I'm telling you. And don't nobody know everything on our checklist but, God. But, yeah. I like this. Thank you so much. You made me laugh once again. Oh, yeah. We be on another planet, don't we, brother?

I love how it's like you should go live on another planet. But no, that's the whole point of us, Lady Phi, is that you and me and everybody, every human, we're not meant to die. We're not meant to suffer, to go through this struggle on earth. We're meant for. Our creator made us in his image, made us his children

So I'm probably going to do, and I'm going to do more of these eventually, but I'll give you a spoiler alert. Additional people that are going to go on the list of anointed, or at least in the rap genre, artists that are going to go into the anointed pile or in consideration or they're going in there eventually it'll be J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Mac Miller it, and Biggie Smalls

You there. I don't know what you think about this, but I have shared on this platform before, as well as like a podcast that I do with my husband. Just I am like, kind of flabbergasted essentially by just how performative people are in life and in society

And even the same goes for Kanye. Kanye was preaching the gospel. He was having Sunday services a couple years ago. I don't know what happened to this guy. Drew him out of that. They must have promised him all the money in the world, because that's the only thing that can drive you away from God and

And for me, I seek joy and solitude because I find people to be overwhelmingly horrifying with the amount of lies and the amount of pretense is you have to deal with within your families, within your household, within schools, within your workplace, in society. It's just flat out overwhelming

As soon as we found out that the biggest producer in Hollywood, Harvey Weinstein, was raping people, it just kept going. And the people kept accepting awards. Nobody took accountability for it. Nobody said, hey, I knew that this was going on, and I didn't try to stop it. All the people. You think Harvey Weinstein was the only, like, it's a casting couch for a reason. It's just a bunch of pigs in the industry

And I've kind of had this idea in my head for a while. Because you think, I love the movie Amadeus, where Mozart, all of these classical composers were making beautiful music for royalty. And, yeah, it's a torturous existence. And I want you to think of Vincent van Gogh, the poster child for the artist that was not appreciated during their time. And he felt that in him so much that it sent him down a dark path

The struggle is REAL 🙏🏾 #shame #people #change

And we would have to kind of have that list of all the people who are known offenders. Kind of like the kind of sex offenders list that would then allow for probably the prosecution and or public shaming and or acknowledgment that these hundreds or thousands of people are people that are known to have done XYZ. And they would be shunned and blacklisted from the industry, not because they exposed something or did something right, but they actually are known offenders for harming people and harming children
