And I love this image of this very possessed woman in front of these bright colors with this phoenix behind her. And it's really making its way into some of my own art just in that I'm making these bright, bright textiles that have these very colliding patterns. And I'm doing these illustrations that are very intricate and floral, but a floral that's impossible. That's almost that goes into the realm of fantasy. And anyway, I just love it

Because I feel like when you do that, you sort of imitate older artists who were kind of finding some Fujimoto expression and then set the national culture and then when you go back to work in the confines of that, it's just very trapped because it's not sort of an expression of your time. And I think in Clint's time you had all this art crossing borders for the first time and obviously you're going to find that super inspiring with all the patterns from Asia especially

So it's always kind of a rotating display of just sort of whatever little bits of sketches and cute animals and bright colored ads and then extremely valuable art, but that it's not the original, but that I've just clipped out of a brochure or a series of posters that were for opera

And just throughout the documentary, he's one of those people that's ever recorded his life, which actually I'm going to start doing. I'm very inspired by it. Just at lots of different stages in his life, you see him and he's just recording himself with a small group of friends that he's with at the time. And yeah, he's a really cool character. He has this definite bisexual energy. He speaks so well. He's very Japanese
