AMERICAN MOVIE - maybe the American Dream was the friends we made all along.
It drives him. It's the heartbeat under everything that he does and it makes his family and friends, like, call him crazy and irresponsible. Maybe he's a little bit of both, but it's this undeniable quality, this passion and dreamers ideology that makes things like a beautiful film happen. And it's hard to understand if you don't also feel it. So he's walking around misunderstood by everyone, but not letting that stop him from his dream

But also, like you mentioned, the friendship that is displayed in the film. And these guys are trying to put this thing together with limited resources and just sort of the craftsmanship of putting together, but also the relationship between the two friends. And it really is sort of a testimony to friendship and also the arts and sort of that dedication to it. And I love this movie and it's weird because I saw someone talking about this on Twitter a couple of weeks ago

Totally. Totally. Yeah. This is, like it's inspired me to, like, write a short film and, like, make it finally. It's a dream that I've had for a while. And then seeing this, I'm like, come on, this is the one life we get, right? Just do things with the people that you love and try to try to make something good. Yeah. I'm glad you like it, too. Yeah.
