Special Interests & Neurodivergents
It doesn't have to be just autism focused. It can be your hobbies, things that you like, something that you're passionate about that is just like a really special interest. So my hand would go up every time, but the teacher then would stop calling on me to make space for other students. And I couldn't figure out why. You're asking me a question. I'm telling you I know the answer. Why won't you call on me? Now, I understand my framing of it versus their framing of it autistic versus holistic, but anyway, I sometimes see those tendencies in myself, even now, from time to time
