It's like giving a person who is used to running 500 meters every day a challenge to start running 3 km every day. It's like giving a cyclist challenge to the brain. And it's proven that your brain stimulates more information when you're trying to grasp that information in various different languages. Of course, linguistic people are said to be 3% more smarter than normal people because they can interpret and read in different languages

It helps you while visiting foreign countries, to communicate with locals for directions or about any general knowledge about the place. It also deepens your connection with different countries, cultures, earth and boost your confidence
