You can’t start a new chapter in life if you keep re-reading the last one.
It's not an ask to forget the past. It's not an ask to forget what happened. But we have to also remember that these are the things that help shape us. They don't go anywhere. They just sit in a special compartment in case we ever face that situation again. We know how to deal with it because that resource still lives. But we have to start rewriting the chapter because we got to move forward. And it's okay to forgive yourself for mistakes

You can ask my children, I always let them know. You cannot turn the page if you don't give permission to end the last chapter, to be okay with everything that happened, even the things you had no control to change. But God gives us enough to control how we go forward and how we learn from what we experienced from the last chapter. God bless you. Until the next time. Be kind. And again, thank you.
