Is intuition a substitute for communication?
Again, I tend to believe that we sometimes do use the notion of intuition as a way of not really expressing how we feel because we're not ready for the consequences or the responsibility that goes with that. Again, I could be completely wrong, and I want to know how I'm wrong and where I'm wrong, so let me know. It would be interesting to hear other people's responses and ideas and thoughts about this. Thanks
Because intuition might tell me that somebody is upset, right? But emotion might tell me I want to avoid this because I don't want to be confronted with whatever they're feeling if it's about me, right? But if I don't address that person, and I think that I have all the answers too, because of my quote unquote intuition, I'm depriving them of an opportunity to either tell me that I'm wrong or to clarify what I think I'm understanding

But they are not one and the same, any more than your heart and your brain are one and the same, even though they do rely on each other. I hope that makes sense. And this was a very thoughtful question, and I very much appreciate being able to answer this. Thank you for inviting me

And the second question is that, are we brave enough and courageous enough to ask this question when we're thinking about intuition and communication? And this is a question that comes from a guy by the name of Gil Fronsdall. He's, I think, his Zen teacher at something called the insight Meditation center. And it's a very basic question, and I heard this years ago, and it's always stuck with me. And the question is, what's going on here?

And hopefully this will give you some insight so you can get a better idea for yourself. But thank you very much for coming to me about this, and hopefully you'll get some other feedback, too, from other people, not just me. I certainly don't know everything. I know quite a bit about mindfulness, though. But thank you again for inviting me. Have a good one
