Hey, it's Renee Slay with another poem. This one called destruction. Mother Nature cries out tonight at the destruction of her love. The trees are disappearing and the sky is falling from above. No more are the lakes beautiful as they are filled with trash and the air we breathe no longer cling our lungs full of ash. She cries out tonight for the way that we have done her so very wrong. And for the animals that are dying as we continue to just carry along her dreams for us

The pigeons in my city, I don't even think they believe they could fly anymore because they just walking around, and it looks like they just strung out on drugs with everybody else. And I'm not judging, because but for the grace of God, there go I. And I struggle every day trying to stay focused. And don't get me wrong, my disease tells me, just take one and you'll be all right. Just forget it

Holy cow. This is so beautiful, so powerful, so truthful and so heartbreaking. Like, I love it. And it also broke my heart into a million pieces because the visual that I got of Mother Gaia, Mother Earth, just crying tears of sadness that we have not properly cared for and respect did. This beautiful planet that she gave us to inhabit is very real, very 100% real

You. Wow. I have to say that I needed to collect myself for a minute before I responded, and I may get choked up again. Whenever I hear any type of creative art, whether it's verbal or visual, it always hits me home when it has to do with our Earth and how we treat our planet, our animals, our air, our water. And I am a Taurus, so I really do strongly relate to the Earth and the Earth aspects of our planet
