Growth ~ poetryby Slay ⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ - This is a part of my truth and how my God showed me what God really is.

Yet months went by and this God was finally doing the one thing for which I had always yearned. He refused to give up on me. He refused to turn his back and a lesson he wanted learned. He'd heard my prayers and felt to each moment of my pain like it was his own. My prayers were answered, but I refused to accept that I should walk away alone. Those that hurt me would not leave until I had no longer had what it was that they wanted to own

And that's not a true statement. And that's what I've learned through all of these teachings that I'm receiving, is that we really are God. We really are God, and God is all around us. And if we understand that we can call upon and absorb Christlike energy and God energy to help us even in our troubled times, that is comforting to know all by itself

Those that don't believe and those that do. But this, like you, was the exact process of discovering who my God actually is. Who is just a word. I guess it's hard for me to know how to address what God is when I speak of his energy, even then His I am programmed to say he, right. But I know as I'm saying it that he's not a he. He is every bit of everything. He is the energy. The energy

There's an old saying that experience teaches you to recognize a mistake before you make it again. It so it is a very beautiful poem. And the fire that you regurgitate, it is really powerful poem. Really powerful. Renee, keep doing it. Keep expressing yourself, keep letting it out. I support you, my dear friend

Or maybe it is the only love that we have in that moment though it is not love that we refuse to let go so that whatever's meant for us can step in. So I think back on so many signs and so many red flags and so many things that I chose to ignore so that I could hold on and have something. So he was always telling me what my next step should be, but he was not going to make the choice for me. Yeah, it was rough time

You emote so beautifully and express yourself so truthfully and transparently, and it is so healing to find that in someone, in a poet, in an artist that can display such depth of emotion in a way that helps all of us who've been down these roads to be able to tackle the memories. So thank you. Thank you so much for sharing and being vulnerable and putting yourself out there every time you come on here and you bring your poetry. I appreciate you so much for that

So thank you for listening and thank you for replying, because that's what it's all about, is when someone can resonate with what I put out there. And I love the conversation pieces. So feel more than welcome on anything. Thank you

I know I told you once, it's standing for the standing up, speaking truth, standing up for people, for anybody that's put down, but it's a healing too. I know for sure that's a large part of my journey as an Empath as well. We want to heal. We want people to not be where we were in the first place. But if they had been had to be for their journey, then we want them to be able to use it

It's. Wow. You got through that just in the nick of time before your time ran out. And it was amazing. Oh, my God, that was great. That was great. That was a wow. And I loved it. I loved it. It was beautiful. Which I love all of your poems. Oh, I can so relate. I can so relate. Maybe we don't have the exact same experience

And if someone else can get that from this poem, that is the reason I put it out, because it's not my message. It's God's message to those people that are wondering where the h*** he's at in the perfect moment to show the big thing he can show always in the most loving, loving way. He will show and continues to. So I love that. You got it. Thank you so much, girl. I'll talk to you soon

I do truly do see, understand, believe. I know when God shows up, it's so beautiful and peaceful and it's just rest for your soul. And sometimes it seems like he's never going to show up and it doesn't seem like he's there, but when he does show up and really shows you himself, you see he was always there. Anyway, I know I said all that before, but yeah, I get it. I know you heard my stomach growling
