The Road - poetry by Slay

He stopped at a fork in the road and lifted my weary head. Now is the time to choose the path that you will walk alone. I have watched you while you lived and now you are grown. Choose this path wisely for one will cause you great harm. The other is home, he said as he let go of my arm. I stood there for a moment and when I turned, he was gone. One path was sunny as the other was hard and long

Once you have it out there like that, whether it's in book form or not, you've got the rights to it. You have copyrighted material. And you know what? I swear there's just so many bad things that happen. It just scares me to do it. It scares me to do it without having it in the book first. But I'm about to actually do it and really do it. So I guess it doesn't really matter

Hey girl. Hey. And yay. I'm so glad you liked it. For real. Like it makes me feel awesome anytime I get any positive feedback on the stuff that I put out there. I know as far as the stuff that I post, a lot of mine is going to be probably controversial conversation pieces, totally uncensored, but I wanted to do the poetry just because I saw so many inspiring people on here that have great pieces that they put up
