"Don't Say Gay" bills being brought before legislation in Texas. Isolation and shame for LBGTQ+ kids or a parental right to selective reality?

Or is it lawmakers taking away the right of a child who may exist within the LGBTQ plus community and removing any inclusion that they may have in the openness that comes with sharing information within the community on what they identify with? Are we taking away and replacing with shame? Almost, because you are then the hushed subject, a subject that is taboo, the one that is not good enough or that is so bad that it can't be spoken about in a school that would otherwise teach on all things right

So to make this even in some ways more complicated, because if kids are being brought up and they are recognizing other kids that are learning about understanding about themselves and sexuality and gender and so on, then you facing these things all the sooner without having full information to be equipped. Do you know what I mean? It's different than when I grew up. And again, saying that as I grew up was damaging to me

So the kids that feel in their hearts that they're different, that they may be gay, that they may be whatever they are, that doesn't sit within the confines of this man, this woman, are being told that that's too nasty to talk about at school, right? And the ones that have been adopted into families where the parents are in loving same sex relationships, well then they're not being taught anything, right?
