Hey, hey, hey. It's Renee Slay with another poem for National Poetry Month. This one is entitled Existing Beyond the Day. The day can have the lady ever proper and careful of how she appears. But when the darkness covers all I'll release control of that lady and her fears. Respectable girls deeply slumber, long gone covered in coverings high up to their ears while by the light of the moon I dance naked by fire free of rules that don't live here
I have learned to truly exist beyond the day. And I embrace everything that that means. And for those of us who do find our way behind that veil, this poem is a triumph. Beautiful and amazing
