My Son's Broken Heart ~ my son lost his favorite budgie parakeet. Seeing him break is devastating. Do you experience your child's hurt?

So I just wanted to see if I mean, what experiences, if any, have have anybody had about those moments when you see your child just destroyed over something and you know that there's, like, nothing you can do to take that pain away, and you would give everything to take that pain away. I don't know, it's a lot

Sorry to hear about your lost

Maybe that was like an emotional pet for him, maybe because it was like a companion to him. So that's probably why he was so emotional about it, because it was a companion. And not only that, it was part of his life. And I say one day, just surprise him with the new one. I know it's not going to be replaceable for that one, but one day, just surprise him. Don't even tell him

And I still deal with that today. But I struggle to not fight the tears. Like, I struggle with it still, but I will cry in an instant if my kid is crying. He has two other birds, same kind, different color. It was just that with this one I'm sorry. My dog decided to play with his toys

Thank you for listening and thanks so much for your reply. Yeah, it's something else. And he worried. He was like, people are going to think I'm stupid because it's a bird, but it's not stupid. It's like the family relationships with he that he had with that that particular bird was the same type of relationship with that I have with my kids or my two dogs. They are my babies. They're my babies. I have a dog that's very senior

But he's had the other birds out a lot and trying to bond with them a little more, and he thinks they're sad because they lost their companions, and they do. The first day, they acted completely different. They're all over the place again now, and I'm sure I have bird poop all over my house, but, hey, my son's smiling. Okay, thanks
