The Peace in the Tree ~ Poetry by Slay ~ catch up for 4/22

article image placeholderUploaded by @Renee_Slay
I hear it now as the quiet tries to consume me the scratching and creaking of seasons yet to be the wisdom in its branches and the wind as it blows the age of the trunk as ever so slowly it grows complete in its time it only needs to sit and see stretching its arms it needs only to live and be but is it more than what we think is really there? Does it learn as it sits without a single care?

You know, I loved this. I love the standing people. That's what some Native American tribes call trees because of all that wisdom they hold and their presence, and to be honored it as part of our collective life force. Just lovely. Renee. I love this one

And it just saddens me and even angers me that we don't look out and every time we walk outside fill a thrill looking at all of what nature's bounty has brought us. I just love nature so much, and I want for people to remember where we come from and what this place really is and the meaning of that. And this piece is a reminder. Thank you for inviting me to it. And thank you for sharing. I appreciate you so much. As usual, my lovely friend

And I have always known since very young of the souls that reside within and the life force, and that they were gifting me with something, though I didn't know what to call it. So I love, love, love when someone else has that same energy with them as well. Thank you

And as you speaking, I thought I had the most beautiful image enter my head of you and I tracing through the forest, coming across that river, that old, old river, and just soaking in that beauty and that knowledge and not only receiving from the earth, but giving it's a beautiful, beautiful thing. You thank you so much
