Give yourself grace

article image placeholderUploaded by @ciaracjohnson
Hello all. Welcome back. If you are tuning in, thank you for listening. And if you listen to my last will, leave a comment, let me know how you feel. If you agree with some of the things that I talked about in regard to stepping outside of your comfort zone, I wanted to just expound on a few things that I talked about in my first swill, one of which was the idea of comedy sports

One piece of advice we hear often is to give ourselves grace. But what does that really mean?

Hey, Sierra. I just wanted to drop in and say thank you so much for sharing this topic and this reminder with everybody, and also just for showing up as your authentic self and being so vulnerable about your situation. I'm going through a career change right now, and it is requiring lots of trial and lots of error, but it is also teaching me a new skill of giving myself grace. So this came at the perfect time. Thank you again and good luck

I know you said that it's something that's requiring a lot of trial and error. One thing I will say, and this is a piece of advice that I need to continue to take myself, but I remember learning from someone that it's important to fail forward. Like, failing forward is a thing. So even if the thing that you're doing is requiring a lot of trial and error, that's good, because you're still learning along the way
