But now I will say decades down the road, you will have a 13 year old, because you do have a 13 year old now who you will need to be a pillar and a rock for, because they will go through tumultuous trials and tribulations like you have. And you're going to need to know how to console them, guide them, lead them, and help them find their voice

Hey Reggie, really beautiful sentiment here. Super heartfelt. I think this is so valuable for any young adult or any person in general. But the benefit to yourself here, the value of going into that internal space where the wounded child lives and being able to all offer consolation and peace of mind and love to that inner you that still fully exists, in my opinion, I don't think we're ever fully separate from our childhood self
