It pisses me off that the Academy doesn't take horror films seriously, because if they did, I would definitely agree that Mia Goth would deserve a Best Actress award for this movie. But I think a favorite thing that I liked about this movie too was I feel like when a movie is centered on the villain, they always do what they can to make us sympathize with the villain, in making the victims, these terrible people that it's like you're rooting for the villain
