And we are six months in and we cover as many topics as possible possible, whether it's paranormal, whether it's history, comedy, sports and anything that you can find on Reddit on Wiki. We cover it's

You kind of get a vibe for our chemistry as Cohosts together and there's a lot of funny bits and it's informative on top of all of that. So. Yeah, go check that out. Thanks

I think it was just a really great episode and it shows a lot of personality within all the cohosts. We're all just laughing and it was really amazing. So you guys check it out. It's called Superman Lives and I will be sure to link that episode below

My favourite episode of Reddit On Wiki

Thanks, John, for introducing me. My name is Josh Schell. Like John said, I'm one third of the host of Reddit on Wiki and the host of let's Start a Cult. So our next question is what is one of our favorite episodes? So my personal favorite episode from Reddit on Wiki is the Donner Party. Hastings is not hasty
@sean_snt
What's up, swell users. It's your boy, Sean. Yes. So the next question is, how do we come up with our episodes for Reddit on Wiki? So if you haven't heard the show, there's three of us. John, Josh and I, we switch who's hosting the episode. So we each have our own different way of choosing what we want to talk about

And it's kind of a great way for us, for me, especially to learn about certain subjects that I do not really know about. However, on the actual episodes, I tend to focus a lot more on the paranormal, a lot more on the cryptids, a lot more on the spooky stuff, as well as conspiracy theories. There's always a lot of fun things to spin around when it comes to those episodes and being able to share that with my cohost

How do I decide my topic each episode?

The next question that we were asked was, how do you decide what the focus of each episode will be? And Taylor asked, Is it as simple as being inspired by a Reddit post you saw or Wiki rabbit hole you went down? So this is a tricky one for me personally because if you haven't listened to read it on Wiki, we each present. So I present one week, Sean presents another week, and then John presents another week for me personally. Inspiration comes from literally anywhere
@sean_snt
But I think the craziest thing that we've done on the show is read erotic fan fiction. It is truly the most uncomfortable, disgusting acts that are described in these. And we are all very uncomfortable reading it. But also it's very funny to hear each other read it. And our listeners or wicked maniacs agree that it is funny. So yeah, that's probably the craziest weirdest thing that we've done

Just because of the tenacity of some of these people able to survive some of that traumatic incident and for them to be able to overcome some of it. And then the Denver airport conspiracy theory is just I'm an avid traveler. I pass by Denver a lot of times and just to be able to see some of the paintings and some of the structure that the airport has
@sean_snt
I've made some great friends pursuing this. So I would say if you have an idea, just do it and then also don't try to be anyone but yourself. I know that's a cliche but no one wants to hear your impression of insert popular podcaster here. They want to hear you. Sometimes I don't know how many people listen to this podcast, but the people that like you will want to hear you and not your impression of somebody else. So yeah, top two things

What is the craziest topic I've covered?

This is going to spoil a little bit, but basically he was this guy who proclaimed to be the Emperor of America. And it is a wild tale of how this city, San Francisco, kind of rallies behind him and named himself honorary Emperor of America. So if you haven't checked that one out, go check out Emperor Norton, The Greatest American Emperor. And it's just a crazy tale. And some of the stuff he does is just ridiculous. So go check that one out

I really suggest people to just get into it and try it out to see if this is something that you'd want to do in the long run and then invest in those things. Just a heads up to that. Podcasting is a labor of love and it's a lot of work. It's a lot of being able to use time management properly. It is a Liberal love, so it's a big commitment that people should take into account for and it's something that you should plan ahead

What is some advice you would give to aspiring podcasters?

So once you're done editing, you can share it with friends family and get their honest opinion of what they think of the podcasts. That way, if it feels off or if your family friends say, hey, you know, maybe tweak this, tweet that, then you haven't already released and you have time to fix some of it and maybe re record or try something different. So that's my biggest advice. So Yeah

Hey John, thanks for sharing this informational post about the history. I think it's really cool that you just pick random things on Wikipedia and talk about them because I think that a lot of people go directly to Wikipedia now, obviously that we don't use encyclopedias and need information or can get additional information. And I think I use it as an education tool. It's kind of like WebMD kind of scary. But I think Wikipedia obviously is more verified

Hey, Jared, interesting that you brought up. As far as overlaps concerned, I don't think we're going to be able to hit those overlaps just because all of us have some sort of different topics that we like to touch on. I'm more of the paranormal and and a conspiracy person, while Josh does more of the history and he likes doing lists as part of his episodes. And then Sean Sean is kind of our wild Jared person. He does anything pop culture or sports related
