They made me the keeper of the vineyards. Quite possibly, Solomon the King was not speaking of himself here, but he could use the term Black for a foreigner. Because people of Africa are of African descent, were well established and well known in the Levant, as in southern Europe and other parts of the near and the Middle East. So poetry writing considered sacred clearly established Africa and Africans as being active on the world stage from the earliest times. So that's it for me
