Confessions of a wife at the deathbed of her husband! Part 2

Friends, has there ever been a time in your life where you found yourself in a wrestling match with the Lord, where he asked you to give him the one thing in the sinsick world that you loved and treasured the most? I'd love to hear your experience. Or perhaps you, too, sat at the bedside of a dying loved one and have entry or just some thoughts to share concerning that I'd love to hear from you. And to keep the conversation going

But nonetheless, the one thing I do question, which is in alignment with some of your last questions, here are thoughts I've often asked myself, and I'll use the war in Gaza, for instance. And I'm not taking sides here between the Israelis or Palestinians. First of all, just to say, for the record, what happened to the Israelis initially was horrific, but what's happening to the palestinian people is horrific. War is never a good thing

Having said that, I see through your response where a space is needed to be able to safely have these types of conversations. I say safely because there tends to be so much judgment and anger when it comes to topics like religion, politics and war like you mentioned. So let me try to unpack what you've shared. First off, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad passing away, but I'm so glad you had those brief moments to say your final goodbye

You. I'm sorry I got so into what I was talking about that I didn't look at the time, but I was just going to end by saying, you know, that the Bible does have all the answers to those things. Everything that you mentioned and everything that you haven't mentioned. So it doesn't matter what religion or, you know, denomination, nation, a person is, we are all universally affected by sin, period
