You snooze you lose… Or maybe not

There's also a really cool tradition in Judaism about sleep, which is that while you're sleeping, 160 th of your soul travels up to the world to come, which is, I think, what you call heaven, we don't really call it heaven. We call it the world to come. So when we wake up, we thank God for restoring our soul to us so that 160 th of our soul that went up the world to come has returned to us

Hmmm that luminal state

Well, there's something beautiful about the liminal state, the state where you're kind of dreaming and living and lots of things can happen in that state. So snooze is a time when you make a choice to live in that state. I think lion is kind of moving in a world that is fright or flight. And I think we have the luxury of having more of a sublime orientation to the environment around and our relationship to entering into it from our bed
