Stolen moments (of intimacy)
Every so often, I'd fall asleep with him holding me. More often than not, he'd take a nap in my lap. And these were moments of quiet connections. Such deep intimacy of those moments. Nowadays, we can't do that, not with a young child around. So instead, we just find moments. Moments of one person offering the other the reminder of their love. Me touching my husband's arm for just a moment while he sleeps with her daughter between us
And as we both know, these times are very, very, excuse me, very temporary and worth it. At least I can speak for myself. It's worth it. I'd imagine it's much of the same for you, but obviously, I don't want to speak for you, but what a time. What a time. So many beautiful babies are being born right now, and I think it's just the time. Time to have a kid, I guess
