Hello Pranjal and many congratulations to you on your book the title of the book is so poignant yet so sharp try the Fatal Word come to think of it, try is indeed fatal in certain circumstances I would like for you to tell our listeners how and why did you come up with this name?

@Book_gobbler

That very word try, which is a positive word used in positive situations that try not to give up and try and you'll succeed, try to study and you'll not fail the test and stuff like that. That very word tends to be fatal. It turns out to be negative in some situations. In most of them

Being said that in order to have a better understanding, I would like to put forward a question were there any particular life experiences or events that influenced the creation of this poem? And if yes, how did you strike a balance between the authenticity and protecting your own privacy while writing about personal experiences? I'm really looking forward towards having a discussion about this and I would like to wish you all the best for your future endeavors

And now I wanted this piece of writing to be out there because I wanted to express something that when people are there in the dark, all they hear is try do this, try to do this, try to do that. And what I wanted to do was I wanted to convey this message. But at the same time, protecting the privacy is also really important. I didn't want people to know that these are the XYZ things that took place and that's why this book is here

Good afternoon, Branjal. Many congratulations for the book title is wonderful and meaningful too. My question to you is that you must have gone through all the poetries in the anthology. They talk about different shades of relationships. What would be your suggestion to the people who are not strong enough to come out of that particular toxic relationship? How would you suggest people to come out, overcome the trauma and get a new start? Thank you so much
@authorpranjal

@Vipin0124

And I should suggest that make some friends, I mean that have some people who are there by your side at every step, people other than your partner. So that is how you get help to get out of that relationship. I very well know how hard it is and nowadays teenagers do this, young girls and even guys get into this and it's hard for them because they have attachment issues and humans have attachment issues

Absolutely agree with you there, Pranjal. Try is such a positive word, but it needs to be used at the right time, right place, right situations. One needs to empathize with other human being and then make use of this word. The book follows a difficult journey set through poems. Getting out of a toxic relationship is a human mangas task. It drains you out emotionally and physically and most of us have been there. Why did you pick up such a theme for this book?

When I personally read poetry, it just invades my heart. It enters my heart. It diminishes all the boundaries that I have. It dissolves in me and I understand each and every word. I absorb every word and it resides in my remembrances. That is why I chose poetry. Because poetry, for poetry lovers, it's easy to read, and for everyone poetry, it is duty in itself. It's easy to comprehend, it's easy to read

Narcissism I get I get in the sense that you could have written it. When you're speaking about a different person, the antagonist you can say. When you speak about mishandling or mistreatment or inhumaneness, how do you sit down and gather your thoughts to write about these two topics? Does it feel hard? Do you feel pain while writing it? Or do you feel a kind of release? Or is there any other emotion you feel? These are just the two things off the top of my head

It's as if I am feeling what I'm writing, as if something has been done to me, something pathetic. That's why I write it with full emotions. At times it is too hard that I need to take a break and get out of all the Daphness I'm writing. And at times it is liberating that I need to delve into it more and absorb all the pain which I'm writing about. So it transitions

That's absolutely true, Pranjal. Like I always say, poetry is the only space where guns and roses coexist. So that's what poetry is to me. When we talk about toxic relationships, why do you think we don't see the big red flags in the initial stages itself? And how can we avoid getting into a toxic relation?

Because we live in an environment we are surrounded with people who are not ready to accept us for who we are, who are not ready to accept our dark times, who are not ready to accept our grief, our sorrows and who are not ready to accept that even the happiest people can at times fall into the darkest traps, which are very difficult to get out of. And when we talk about how do we get into toxic relationships and why do we fail to analyze all those red flags?

I so agree with you, Pranjal. While you were giving this answer, I had flashes from my past life. We actually end up trusting wrong people and then think that they have become toxic, but in fact, they have always been toxic. So, as for my next question what's your writing process like, especially when it comes to poetry? Is it spur of the moment, or do you draw from your experiences and have a set schedule to write?

So I steal time, I steal some moments and I just pick my pen and scribble on any piece of paper I find and keep it safe and secure. And when I reach home and I find time, I edit it, I beautify it and I note it down in my diary. That's how it goes right now. And it is a bit clumsy

That is quite interesting. It actually reminds me of my young days when I would be writing poetry scribbling away on piece of bus tickets and those tickets were really of bad quality. Paper coming to my next question when it comes to dark themes, I personally can only recall plath. But coming to you, who among the past and contemporary poets are your favorites?

I'm a huge fan since quite a few weeks as I have been going through a lot of his poetry. And there's actually one book I'm reading right now. I wrote it for you. So it is a poetry book which contains all the poems and proses written from 2007, which was my birth year till 2017. And a lover wrote this for his lover to make the person realize how much he loves him. And the book says that I hope that this book is in the right hands

The affection and comfort she experienced through. But those hands faded away. So it's like when you hold someone's hand for the first time and the warmth and gradually when that warmth takes the shape of something else, it doesn't feel realistic. When affection turns into brutality, it doesn't feel good. And one is a thought struck in her mind. Perhaps it was a chance worth giving. Few months since she kicked him out of her life, she felt contented

That piece is quite moving and I had vivid imagery right in front of my eyes as you were reciting. And you write about poetry being a liberating process and channel to went out our rage. That reminds me of Piyush misha, sir's, these two couplets, where he says, sukun milta loves KAGAS parutar kar cheek bilaytahu AVAs pinahihoti. Having said that, what, according to you, truly strikes a chord with the listeners or readers?

That is why we prefer certain books over some books. That is why we have a favorite genre, because we find ourselves there. And being a reader, if I don't find myself in that poem, I would not like it. So the quintessential thing which needs to be present in every poem or prose or any piece of write up is you need to connect with people

Hi, and very congratulations on your book. I would like to ask you, how do how does one identify narcissistic behavior, toxic behavior, unless and until one doesn't convey the behavior they're experiencing, there's no way, I think one can really understand narcissistic behavior. All these things that, you know, the person whom they're dealing with is misunderstood. Thank you

I don't understand what the hurry is. Hurry to be friends, hurry to be best friends, hurry to get into other relationships alike. So know the person naturally, make out their weaknesses. Make out that if you would be able to tolerate, if you would be able to be with this person as a friend, as a best friend, as whosoever you want, as a romantic partner, then only get into touch with them, get into deeper contact and that's how it goes

I couldn't have said it better myself. Pranjal. You're so right about that. And before we sign out, I'd like to know, in your opinion, how does poetry serve humanity? Where has it come to in the contemporary times? And what can be changed?

So it plays a crucial role in humans existence. It serves humanity. I feel in today's world, if humanity anywhere, if it does exist, it is in poetry. Because all the emotions, all the messages conveyed through poetry, they're something really different and they are gorgeous, they are exceptional

So true what you've said. I personally feel that poetry is an art form that seeps into your bones and mingles with your spirit like no other art form can at this tender age. You have such a mature outlook, which is rare. And rare are the poems that Pranjal has penned in the book. Try the fatal wood. So I'd urge my listeners to make sure to grab a copy of the book.
