Nobody Wants To Work Anymore
But when you're part of the other side of that fence there where you're like, you know what, I can fix this. By offering a good wage, working conditions, benefits, whatever, and the offer of future work, city income still can't get anybody to show up. So I know this twelve is more of a rant, but part of the reason for me doing this was to kind of gauge what everybody else thinks. What are your thoughts?
They make an agreement and they don't show up, or they charge you more than they should, or it takes exponentially longer than they promised, or they don't show up. Don't you say that already. Anyway, the list is long and varied, right? I mean, right now I live in a multi unit building, and there are some contractors working on doing some balcony repair. Specifically in front of my balcony. They put up scaffolding well over a month ago

You'll have steady work, I'll give you work, I'll make up work if I have to. I'll give you exactly what you want, pay wise. Your own schedule, your own conditions. You'll have me sitting there watching you micromanaging you or anything like that. You can do whatever you want. But yeah, I don't know what it is. Give a little bit more details on what I want done. I don't know

I can't answer the topic of work since I like etymology. I find it funny to point out that in French travai comes from tripallion, which was an instrument of torture. So no wonder the French have some distance from work. They organized a 30 hours week. We don't have it in Switzerland. And of course it's difficult to organize in society and for many companies. But I think the endeavor is right not to give work in general too much importance. Not becoming a workaholic is important

But I can understand from your perspective as you being an employer, trying to look for those that want to work, contractors that don't want to do anything. They just kind of want to twiddle their thumbs. I guess there's work in that. As I had stated earlier to which, when you do find those workers, they'll be dependable. Possibly, but interesting. Like, for me, money is a tool. For me, I'm not going to work just to work, just to have money, to accumulate money and stuff like that. Obviously, I think of money as a tool. So I don't work in the sense of I just have a lot of money. But obviously things I want in life requires money. And if you want things in life, you need money, which is the tool to acquire it

And after challenge after challenge after challenge and it not happening, I became frustrated. But I had someone say to me during my first attempt to resign from corporate health care, which I did not have a plan. It could have been successful, but I did not have a plan. By the time I came up with the plan, there were so many things that were awry and I needed to return back to work quickly

Hey, JL. Thank you for your response. Per protocol, per standard, my response may be a little bit all over the place, but I'll try my best to keep it linear and on track. From what you're saying, and I understand completely where you're coming from. You're doing your own thing. You're your own boss. You don't have a set schedule, you don't have a redundant task. You're doing something that you enjoy
