And then the idea came that, hey, maybe we'll launch a Blade movie. And as everybody knows, Blade was massively successful. First movie was blockbuster hit. Second one was another blockbuster. Third one did not do as well. But again, was still successful by the standards
And the first two movies, I would even argue the third one is okay, but the first two movies are so good, I'd argue the second one is the best of the three. And a lot of people on top of not knowing that this was pretty much what launched it also don't know that Guillermo del Toro, Academy Award winning director, directed Blade Two
