Tech Tip: Using Higher Quality Mics On Swell Via PC

article image placeholderFastest & Lightest Android App Player for PC - BlueStacks 5
I am unsure if Windows Seven will work, but this method will work to get Swell onto your PC and therefore link it up with your PC microphone or a headset. There is also the requirement of either having an Android account or a Google account, or if you signed up for this app utilizing your email. So the first thing you want to do is get what is known as an Android Emulator

Although I never heard of this way. Well, I think I may have heard of this. A guy by the name of Average Joe who used to be on Swell quite frequently had mentioned this. I think to some degree there's a couple of issues I found with using higher quality mics on Swell, and the issue is that you're not going to get much quality out of said Mike due to the fact that Swell has a way of decompressing of audio here

Thank you for your response to Juan. I did limited testing on this, and I noticed right away when I switched from my phone to my computer microphone. The quality was that much better. But as you said, I didn't go beyond that. So I probably never would have checked to listen if the sound quality was great. And I do think you have a good point with this is really not a podcast style platform. It's just more casual. And I think you're right

And I think too sometimes it could depend on your phone itself and what processing power your phone can put out. So I'll be curious once I plan to get a new iphone, maybe my birthday week. My birthday is November 9, so I plan to get an iphone around that time, and I want to test the quality and what this sounds like, as opposed to the newer phone just to confirm once and for all. So, yeah, it should be interesting

I have so much to say about this, and obviously my thoughts are going to be all over the place as they normally are. But one I think one of the things that you said that stood out the most was the phones. Like if you have maybe a mid grade or a high end phone, you bring up an interesting point because now I want to see I'm a tech guy. I have a pretty big background in tech. I like looking at specs and whatnot
