Are you the black sheep of your family?

And I'm sure the swell at this point seems as though I'm just bashing my own family members, but it's really just me stating how I feel as though I'm different. The other thing is I think in general, just the way I think and the way I pursue things and follow through with things

Speaking for myself, yes no doubt. What about you any examples of how you variate from the "norm?"

Everybody kind of feels like they're the black sheep to a certain degree, if you ask the right questions. And so I'm well aware of that. I'm aware that this isn't unique for me, but it is out of the norm that I'm the one of the family members that seldom does family events or family reunions. I think the last reunion I went to was when I was, like, eight. So my mystery is sort of by design, back to that subject

Because if I don't operate in that manner, he's going to A, ask me to leave his home, or B if he's not at home, he is going to leave the situation. So if I want him to be involved or engaged or around, then what I need to do is act accordingly to what works for him and his level of expectation. And I remember growing up even seeing my mother try to talk down about him to other people

Or I guess that's what he was trying to tell me, because he saw that my little brother had more potential. So he felt that maybe I was holding him back. And I was like, oh, no, you can get his own place if you wanted to holding him back. But because I was, like, the loser out of the family, he probably felt that I was holding him back. Now, I'm not saying he thought I was a loser

And still nothing has ever been the same with any of the family that raised me. But when it comes to the black sheep thing, I feel like it was something that I openly joked about with my cousin. We both were like, nobody takes us seriously because we're the black sheep or everybody asks us to do something they don't want to do because we're the black sheep. And we kind of owned it at that point and it was making light of a dark situation
