Can Youtube Replace Traditional Schools?
And I think that is one of the major benefits of schooling. And that is something that YouTube cannot teach. But nonetheless, I would love to hear your opinion. What is your opinion? Do you believe that schooling academically, excluding socialization is a better option for learning? Or do you think traditional schooling is a much better option? Let me know your thoughts below. Ultimately, I think it really just depends on how a student best learns. If they want to learn from textbook, then obviously a real school would probably be the best method for them. While a student that maybe learns better visually would probably succeed a lot better with a method of learning with videos like YouTube
That being said, there needs to be real hands on guidance there from an instructor who, like I said, adds value to the videos. So one example that I like to give is we would study, let's say, when I was teaching biology, we would study the organ system, let's say and then we'd go to crash course history on YouTube

Like, if I want to learn a language, a lot of times, I will go to YouTube and watch and learn a different language. So I think you're right. There is something to it that you can go to. And we do have access to something like YouTube where these videos are actually really helpful. They are really helpful in reinforcing what they're learning in class. So hats off to you for bringing this topic. And I think you're on to something you

I've had teachers in the past who sort of had that teaching style, who sort of just gave out quizzes and gave out textbooks and really did not go over a lot of detail or give any context. It was really just read the book, do the test, so not a lot of engagement. Sometimes you got a broad, quick view of what the subject or content was and really not much more than that. So hats off to you for being a great teacher
