The very short version is you pretty much always want to use non ethanol fuel in a small engine. The reason for that is because with regular unleaded fuel, if you do not burn through it, and sometimes even if you do burn through the unleaded fuel and use it up and there's nothing left in the tank or the carburetor, your carburetor is going to gum up when it comes up. It's not going to allow the proper air and fuel mixture into the engine to run the engine

Diagnosing Air issues (Filter)

You'll see it on typically the left side of your engine if you're standing directly behind it, or the right side if you're standing in front of it. And it's a little tab, no tools needed, you just need to pull back on that tab, the box will fall down, and that is your air filter. So all you have to do to quickly diagnose your if it's a filter issue with your air is to just remove that filter and try starting your engine

Looking at the carburetor and basic cleaning procedures. Donyboy73, chickanic and Taryl fixes all are great instructor's

You can actually pry that center metal, center white piece out. Grab a pair of pliers, grab it in a way that you won't break it. Pull that out. You'll see that there's three cylinders on the bottom. Blow those out with that compressor as well. Snap that back in, put the carburetor back together with the bolt, slide it back onto the cylinder, and there you go. You've successfully cleaned the carburetor. But again, basic idea
