And if you consider a time long before these mobile phones and apps came into the picture, let's say around 2030 years back, it took a lot of time for you to find someone and then an even more time, lot of time to connect with them, maybe have a conversation with them, ask them out on a date. And this also gives a chance to gratify a lust, as I may say. In case you use the word hookup, then it has to be lust. It cannot be love, actually. So it's a matter of choice that individuals exert.
