Does being positive means being happy all the time ?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Pragati.chopra
Hello everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful day. I just want to share that I didn't had a very good day today as always. But then we can't expect us to be happy and positive all the time. I think it's time to unsubscribe to the always be positive and always be happy ideology and just let ourselves be human. I mean whenever we are sad or we are down people and our friends they come up to say cheer up, stay positive, everything will fall well

@Pragati.chopra with the rose comes the thorn. But once the rose is gone , what use the thorn?

And I asked her, do you think you would appreciate silence in the absence of noise? If there was no noise, would silence be as relevant? If there are no mistakes, would success be as relevant? It is after making a lot of mistakes that when you finally achieve success, that it really matters. And I think a lot of the times we have taken this stay positive, be positive statement or mindset to be completely or taken it entirely out of its context

Hi Pragati. I believe that what you said is very true. People should not always stick to the idea of being happy. Like, whenever a person says you should always be optimistic or you should always be positive, it's not possible for a person to always be happy and positive, like all the time. If you need to have bad moments to realize you have sood ones without the bad moments in your life, you really don't realize when you're having the good moments

You shared a space with that person and it hits you, right? And that's the time. You are at the lowest. But at that point of time, the only thing which can heal you is time. And just let time run its course and get better at things. Yes, but sulking too much into negativity. Being sad and sulking too much by being low will only hamper your productivity

That's how I take it. Every day there's a setback in life every day. There's so many positive things happening, so false. Positivity, even if you are down, doesn't make sense. It's just that challenges become better that you learn from sadness. Some of the best poetry and the best songs have been written when you're sad. So there is nothing wrong being sad. Yes
