Is Social Validation Required For Self Esteem ?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Prachi_Agarwal
Hello everybody. I am Prachi Agarwal and I hope all of you are doing great today. I'm here to ask a question to you. Do you think social validation is actually required to boost your selfesteem? Far too often people focus on receiving validation from external sources. This may be friends, family, work colleagues or people in position of authority

You're. Hello. Thank you so much for this wonderful post you expressed very eloquently. And it's a fact that one actually doesn't need social validation. It to boost their self esteem. But that's an idealistic way of seeing things. Not that it's not possible, but it varies from person to person because every child individual has different psyche, different psychological needs or a certain kind of behavior. They come from various backgrounds. And just like we have somebody as introvert, somebody is extrovert

This is something each of us need to learn as early as possible.

I mean, at the end of the day, we're human beings, we love the attention, we love the validation that we get, be it from any source, including social media. But in the lack of external validation, or even worse, if there is external devalidation that happens, right? If people are insulting you or mocking you, learning how to deflect that is very important. It's very crucial
