And I see in my own family history and the history of my people, the history of me, that there are so many people who love to put us down, to say that we're unimportant, we don't really matter, or someone else is more important. I have experienced racism a whole lot from many people of many different races and ethnicities. And I think it has been way beyond time for us to actually stand up and see the beauty in ourselves
