I was forever told that my demeanor was 20 years my senior, and around the hood, especially at school, everybody told me that I seemed older than I was, especially at elementary and middle school. My teachers and teachers aides always commented on how extremely precocious and intelligent I was compared to my peers. Why? Because growing up I learned that in order to be taken seriously, I had to copy my father's characteristics and idolize to people that were much older than me

I just listened to all three parts of this and wow, I loved it so much. You're an incredible storyteller, and I'm so glad that you've brought this story here on swell. I hope there's more parts to this. And if not, I mean, I'll be glad to hear whatever you want to share on here because I really enjoyed your writing. And also hearing you read it aloud is very, you know, it really brings us into your world
