Childhood audio memory

article image placeholderUploaded by @pocketofstories
The sound of the rope being pulled along the pulley drawing in the water from the well. The sound of water pouring from the bucket onto the drum. The sound of children playing in the yard with their delightful shouts, their laughter, their giggles. The sound of the metal gate opening with a squeaky sound as my grandfather would enter the home, carrying in hand some delicacies that you could smell from far away. The creaking sound of the seesaw as children play

Hi Sarita. I really loved you as well, a lot. The moment I started listening to you as well. I could recollect a lot of my childhood memories. The moment we are, well, excited to go to our hometowns in the summer vacation. The kind of sounds, the kind of audio you brought forward today helped me to recollect all my nostalgic memories and tears started rolling out of my eyes considering the kind of situations and the kind of happiness we have in our childhood

Definitely childhood is a special time for everyone. And I tend to ask. I tend to ask people, what is your favorite childhood memory? Or something like that whenever I feel like initiating a deep conversation. So train sounds definitely brought back a lot of memories when you mentioned that. And I used to travel a lot by trains in childhood and used to buy those tinkle magazines and through the entire journey used to just go through the comics. That was a special one

Hi Deepak, thank you for listening and sharing your thoughts. Definitely to inky comics, my mind went to Phantom. And also the fact that in train you would have those two tier and three tier beds. And those chains that would hold them together. And my memory would be swimming, swinging, not swimming, swinging. By those climbing up and down those berths. Peeping over to the next compartment. Making friends, looking forward to the next station

Then yes, my elder sister making me rehearse the song multiple times for a competition and when I am I used to be back with a prize. She used to give me that used to make me sing that song again to make me realize the perfection. So that thing is again, that sound is that audio thing is really there

Hi Arjuna ji. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It is really lovely that you connected immediately with the concept that I was sharing childhood memories. However, they are, they're very precious and I think a lot of people from our generation relate to the train general journey. Train journey. So thank you. Bye
