Few months back when I was working I was earning almost a lakh rupees in a private sector firm. However, I lost my job because I just got married. I wanted to focus on my married life. I don't say I'm not happy. I am very much happy. But a financial independency can give you what no one else can give you. Because that money has been made by you. You have built your own empire. So what to do? Should I sit at home?

And I really don't think that it's any fault of yours that you thought this way because this is what we have been taught since our childhood, that it's the woman who needs to take care of the household, who needs to focus on the marriage to keep it intact and whatnot. But yes, financial independence is indeed important and also, you know that you need to support your own parents. That's also necessary. And definitely contributing to the household is a good thing
