Oh, I think this one is absolutely beautiful. I can feel that room down in my soul where you're just wondering whether what you feel is what the other person feels. Lovely

Yes. Sometimes deep connections, they begin with a question. You want to know the mind of the other person and where they're at, if they are feeling and thinking the same things as you. I am always thinking about and curious about and trying to understand the process of love. I think it's the most important thing in the universe. And for one to truly find that brilliant connection, that one united tie with a person, it's just such an amazing gift

Like, it's just it's one of those things that's really hard to understand and know what's in someone else's mind. We could project that, I guess, but to have the boldness, to just be like, yo, what's up? How do you feel about me? Like, I don't know. I think that's really not a common scenario in my life. Never has been. I'm more of the type that quietly writes poetry and they'll never know

You know, love is actually very simple. We make it complex because of our fears. The themes we're afraid of keep us from reaching for the themes we want or more importantly, for the themes we need. This piece I wrote is really not a question to the listeners about me. It's a question for the listeners to ask whoever it is that they are in relationships with

I've been supremely blessed in my life where the people that I have loved have always loved me back. I've never really known one sided love because if I could see that a person didn't want to love me, I could even love them from a distance. But it's not my role to impose anything for them. Like you said, love is very simple. What's complicated is negotiating grounds that are not even between people, I think

I really like the conviction in this piece. There's the conviction in the directness of the question, but that only comes, I think, the strength of that conviction, I think, only comes from a really deep knowledge and awareness of your own selfworth. And it's the sort of question that posed to someone else, requires them to do the work around their capacity and their capability to love, period. And I've also been musing about posing that question to myself

It is a piece that comes from a position of strength and realizing themes about self that you may not have known before, that have made you now more able and more capable to request what you want for your life. And it's about standing in that position strongly and boldly and not pulling any punches when you approach someone that if they do want an intimacy with you, they should be able to answer that question

And that's what we're supposed to be learning on this grand playing field that we're on in this life, is that we have to respect human life, and we have to give love to human existence in all of its forms and personalities and differences. And to understand that the puzzle and tapestry of this world, this universe you can't see the full picture without every single piece. All of us are those pieces and each one of us has a unique place in that puzzle
