Pondering on a Scene...

article image placeholderUploaded by @Pixiepoet4life
With so much hidden pain, she sees Love fade. He turns to mist, the moonlight gone, the fire dims. I see her and her broken heart. And so I ponder on the scene as she too, fades. A thought I had. This is that piece entitled Pondering on a Scene. I hope you enjoyed

Good evening, Don Maria. I'm trying to gather my words and my thoughts so that I can give a cohesive summation of what I experience with your amazing offering. What I felt when I as I listened to your brilliant oration was it was a scintillating homage to passion. I mean, you know, you were able to capture wanton emotion and full view, full examination. Bravo. You even explained it in some aspect. You know what? Emotion is tied to love

And that's the theme of that piece. Me watching me as I dance with and am seduced by and am contemplating my connection with love. And so there's a definite energy that is beneath the surface of and crackling all through that piece. So I appreciate you for picking up on that and I appreciate your feedback so, so much. You always humble me with the things you say about the pieces that I bring to swell

Hi. It's JL. Happy New Year. What a beautiful poem. As I listened to it, portions of it reminded me of a rendition or a spinoff of the Song of Solomon from the Bible. There were elements of the Song of Solomon that I could hear in the poem. At least, that's my reflection of it. Beautifully composed. Thank you for sharing
