Gentle Fingers

article image placeholderUploaded by @Pixiepoet4life
But I have been going through themes and a little bit busy in my daily life, so I have not been on Swell to post, but tonight I am going to be posting several pieces to kind of catch up a little bit. So this is a new piece that I wrote just a day ago for one of my beautiful poet friends here on Swell at Lolo Flow. Laura, this is for you

I was like, oh, I knew what you were saying the first time we go and listen to your poem one more time, because I was like, you definitely captured my attention and you definitely got me into the headspace you wanted me in. So, yeah, I really enjoyed listening to your poem. Can't wait to hear more of it

And so I'm so appreciative of having people like you who are willing to listen to my poetry and willing to just be a part of my journey and join in and then add themselves to the journey and I get a chance to see who you are. It's such a special thing, such a gift and such a blessing, and I appreciate it so, so much. So thank you for being here. You matter. You definitely matter. All of the poets here on Swell matter so much

You're. You are a powerful, powerful, powerful being. And what you do with words impresses and amazes me every time. And I love this piece and what it says and how it says it. You are just fire

Thank you so much. Renee I feel the same way about you, my sister. And if I am truly a powerful being, it is only because of what has been infused into me by those like you, whom I love so much. Thank you for being my friend. I love you. It

Wow. So commanding and I love the way you read it. It matched the energy of the words and just commanding and demanding respect and at the same time just with this deep soul wisdom that you always bring in different facets. What a comeback. Glad you're back

You're always so powerful and you have this way of saying things and speaking that gets right to the core of the truth. And so this more justice leaning type of theme, I think is something that if you want to keep doing it now, I'm kind of of the mind that we should just do what feels the best to us unless we're really being nudged by spirit to do something

You. This was a deceptively powerful piece. It almost crept up on you by stealth. The way you recite with such calm assurance. It was like almost like a guilty conscience. You know that this thing is eating away at you. It will get the better of you in the end, gently gnawing away. And I like the kind of crescendo of the piece. It's like you're an iron fist in a velvet glove

Ah, thank you so, so much. I always really appreciate and enjoy your replies. You have such an intriguing insight in the way that you see poetry and it's really beautiful and I love hearing your perspectives on the pieces that I offer here on Swell. So thank you so much for participating in this thread, for taking the time to listen, and most importantly, for taking the time to leave such supportive and kind feedback. It does not go unnoticed
