Kyle Rittenhouse: Villain or Patriot?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Phil
Now, before I ask you where you stand, I would first like to state that what I think gets lost in all this debate is no matter where you stand on Kyle or this case is that two people died in what I think was unnecessary. And it's tough for me to really get past that. This is three families that will never be the same again. Now that being said, I'm really having trouble understanding the divisiveness that is going in with this trial

Where do you stand?

@Taylor91 any additional imput?

So I don't know for me, he's definitely guilty, I think, and I'm not sure what would be appropriate for judging or sentencing because obviously, I don't know all the details, and I'm not a judge, and I'm not personally involved. But those are my thoughts and opinions. Maybe Taylor had something else that he would like to talk about or give his opinion. Professor 42 out

Edited title on your recommendation. Thank you

Professor 42. That is a fair call out on Vigilante versus Patriot. They are kind of one and the same. And that is not really what I was the point I was trying to get across. So what I did is I took your recommendation and I put that in the title. So anybody listening into the first part of my swell, maybe confused, maybe not. But what I did is I just went back and amended the title to reflect your recommendation. Thank you

And I can say that if you carry a gun on you, I think you're more inclined to violence, but that's a whole other different story. In this case, we have a kid who politically was running with the wrong crowd. He felt deputized by what he was hearing on the news and from those around him, including his mother. And as a result, to Phil's Point, all of these families will never be the same again. I think it's absolutely horrible thing

Aloha. Phil, this is Kamahana. I'm new to the app, but I wanted to answer your question. I'm not buying any of it at all. I did think he's completely guilty. I think it's all a show, and it's all a big circus. I don't think he's a cult hero in my view or none of those things. I think I he's a big liar and actor, and I'm not buying it again. Thank you for asking

This is American culture here in Kyle Rittenhouse came up out of American culture the same way that the people he shot came up out of an American culture, and those two things can't be separated. And the question is, what is it about American culture that produces these kinds of individuals that we have not addressed because this is not a problem everywhere on the planet

Details of the case that led to this outcome?

You know, I've already clearly explained my disgust with this whole thing, this whole fiasco. But, you know, now that the dust is settling, I want to know what we're went wrong in the trial, that this would be the outcome or what went right for him, I guess, would be the other way to say it. Like, did the lawyer not charge him with the correct charges? And so the case was due from the beginning
