Resume Lying: How is this still a thing?

article image placeholderGeorge Santos' deceit shows why you shouldn't lie on your résumé
Republicans not vetting their candidate very well at all before putting them up for election, or the fact that Democrats aren't doing their homework on their opponent, which I thought seemingly was done at every single level of an election. It is really unbelievable that he was not called out on any of this either as experience or education sooner than after he was elected to the House of Representatives

Oblivious by association?

How many times have gatekeepers rejected a plain, simple vanilla resume? I guess nine or ten times. And where someone just states very plainly that this is their job, this is what they delivered, and those resumes get rejected as compared to those which are a bit more decorated with graphs and color and all those kind of things. It's not to say that those who do have less content or less accurate content in them, but many times a plain, simple vanilla resume gets put aside for later

Good post, Phil. I totally agree on your points from all the way from the responsibility from the Republican side to the Democrat side. And this George Santos guy is a piece of work. I just can't I just cannot even anyway, thanks for posting
