Day one of the US. Open is in the books, and it was not without excitement and upsets. Perhaps the biggest profile match was Coco Goff during primetime in center court and taking on the German Sigamund. Sigamund brought in a very interesting tactic here. Played very, very slow and deliberate. Was guessing right on everything, and really took control of the match in the first set and won the first set.
