Baseball Hall of Fame: One belongs but I'm sorry, the other two do not #Perspective

article image placeholderIntroducing the HOF Class of 2024: Why Adrian Beltre, Todd Helton and Joe Mauer are Hall of Famers
I went to a lot of games at Fenway, and I remember in the late 80s watching a guy by the name of Roberto Alamar in Toronto, and every time I watched him play, he did something to win the game for Toronto. He was always in the perfect position in the field. He would always make incredible plays. He would do something that made you say, wow, every game. That's a hall of famer

I'm starting to see a lot of guys they talk about as hall of Famers that I really don't think are hall of Famers. And the biggest argument with that is Paul George. People talk about if retired right now, he'd be in the basketball hall of Fame. And I said, for what? He don't have the numbers. He never won anything. Why would he be in the hall of Fame? So, like I said, it's just a popularity contest now

@Guruball1 100% agreed

I mean, I grew up a Red Sox fan, and then I watched him beat up on Minnesota twin teams. The guy's just a bona fide hall of famer. I mean, you just can't say anything about it. And I hated the guy, but I just admired how much he was such a great player and that Jason Giambi play when he got. I mean, he just put himself in the right place at the right time all the time for an entire career
