A Covid Swell

article image placeholderUploaded by @Phil
The last time I had COVID was June 2022, and that was the first time I actually got it. And I was pretty laid out for at least three to four days. I was very tired and achy, had a fever and was sleeping during the afternoon. Didn't have a lot of energy. And today I actually feel okay now. I'm reminded that do you remember when COVID cases first were hitting the United States?

Yes I tested positive but this time it's weird

Oh boy, the dreaded COVID bug at it again. Get well soon, Phil. I myself dealt with COVID a few months ago for the first time. I remember the first couple of days during the week. During that week I was coughing like crazy. And then on I think it was on a Tuesday evening, I took a COVID test. That's when I found out I had COVID-19. As a result, I had to miss work for the rest of the week

And two of my coworkers had COVID, actually, and they both worked together, and so they thought the same thing as you. They probably thought they had a fever or some kind of cold because they did have stuffed up noses. They couldn't really smell much. And they went to the doctor. They're like, hey, what's going on? I don't know what's going on with my body

Update: Covid free!

But if I hadn't lost that sense of smell, there's no way I would have tested and I would have just thought that I had a brief mild cold and that's it. Now unfortunately, I am staying with my mom for the week and I ended up giving it to her but she went through the same thing, just one night of terrible sleep but then she started feeling better on day three as well, so pretty much the same thing
