This was in the hundreds of millions of dollars, and the players that resisted that money and stayed loyal to the PGA Tour are now complaining to the PGA executives what was in it for us? If this is only going to come back and they're going to be allowed to play and get that money, why did we stay loyal to you? They are absolutely irate, and I think they have a reason to be
Hey Phil, I appreciate you giving us a great synopsis of what's going on here with PGA and Liv. I'm not a huge golf person but I am a big fan of sports in general and I just got to say that, you know, this is another bit of really disappointing news. I am shocked that the PGA gate gave in but also really not all that surprised given where the money is coming from and the influence that they seemingly have these days
Phil, as you know, because of the way we met each other, I do have a practice in my consulting and coaching business that involves a lot of people related to golf, also in soccer. Taylor, for your edification. So I do know a lot of people in professional sports, mostly on the leadership and management side. So off of swell, I am watching a lot of swirl and listening to a lot of people have very shocked reactions to this situation

You don't need that money from the fans anymore. If I were an executive of the PGA, that's where I would be focused right now. I think there's going to be a lot of angst from the fans right now, and there's going to be this division of once we find out what these players are going to be making, I don't know how popular that's going to be with a lot of mainstream America
But when Tiger Woods hit that thing up on the slope and that ball came coming down at the Masters, he's going neck and neck with I think it was DeMarco, something like that. And that thing stopped on the lip. And then the night sign came up and it dropped in. That's all I had to say. I thought I would be bored. I was jumping up and down in the living room, hit my hand on the ceiling fan like going bananas
