On Gods and Goddesses

article image placeholderUploaded by @Payal_Shandil
Submit to being my wife and I shall let Ram and his army of monkeys go back unharmed. No, mighty king, that shall never happen. Let the world see the mighty king fall on the feet of the poor prince and his band of monkeys. So this is nothing more than an evil king abducting the poor hapless princess and her warrior prince coming to her rescue. What do you think it is? Ravan, the great king, the mighty ruler of Lanka?

I have not heard this version before that Sita told Ravan that Sri Ram had to slay a demon to become a God. So it's a very interesting perspective. But I don't know, if I may, that doesn't explain why know, thousands of folks were slaughtered every day. And of course there is dharma, which dictates that at that time Sita Devi should only be rescued by her husband because that would be the right thing to happen

You. Good morning again. Is this version there somewhere? I won't really know because this is a product of my mind. But before I take credit, I have a tendency to get obsessed with one thing and then read as many versions as possible, as humanly possible for me. And I will not take credit for the idea. But yes, other than more. See the indian mythology and mythology otherwise always has two versions
